Step into a rewarding contract position working with students as a Physical Therapist in a supportive school environment near Auburn, WA. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping children thrive and want to make a difference in educational settings.

The assignment is structured over two semesters. In Semester 1, you’ll engage in full-time responsibilities up to Winter Break, making an immediate impact in students' lives. Once Semester 2 begins, the role transitions to a part-time .4 FTE schedule, offering you the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance when the returning PT resumes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required before start date
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as a PT
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with teachers, families, and other specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to students to help them achieve their educational goals
  • Assess and document individual student needs, progress, and performance
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver both direct and consultative PT services as outlined in students’ IEPs or 504 Plans
  • Participate in school meetings, provide staff training, and communicate progress to families
