Dyslexia Reading Specialist - Duncanville, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Valid General Teaching Endorsement
• At least one of the following:
  • Reading Endorsement
  • Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)
  • Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner (LDP)
• Demonstrated expertise in addressing literacy challenges and dyslexia interventions
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with families
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Dedication to evidence-based instructional approaches and continuous professional growth

Key Duties:

• Assess student needs, design individualized reading and dyslexia intervention plans, and monitor progress regularly
• Deliver direct reading instruction and dyslexia services to students at both the elementary and high school levels
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support literacy achievement and compliance with educational plans
• Document services, track data, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
• Foster an inclusive, supportive education environment where all students can succeed

This position is full-time (37.5 hours per week), onsite, and provides the chance to influence diverse grade levels throughout the duration of the school year through late May 2027.
