Veterinary Technician (Equine)

We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Equine Veterinary Technician to join an equine hospital team providing hands-on care to hospitalized and critically ill horses.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinary professionals, develop your clinical skills, and make a real difference for equine patients when they need it most.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on care for hospitalized and ICU equine patients
• Monitor vitals, behavior, pain levels, and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, injections, place catheters, IV fluids, and treatments as directed
• Assist with catheter placement, blood draws, wound care, and bandaging
• Support veterinarians during exams, procedures, emergencies, and critical cases
• Safely handle and restrain horses of different sizes and medical conditions
• Maintain clean, organized treatment and patient-care areas
• Accurately document treatments and communicate patient updates to the veterinary team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous equine, large-animal, or veterinary experience is a must have
• Strong and confident horse-handling skills
• Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
• ICU, emergency, surgical, or hospital experience is a plus
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize changes in patient condition
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
