Veterinary Technician (Equine/Overnight Shift)

Shift 3 Days - 2.00PM - 12.00AM Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Equine Veterinary Technician to support an equine hospital and ICU team caring for horses that need close monitoring, treatment, and hands-on attention.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide hands-on care for hospitalized and ICU equine patients
• Monitor vitals, behavior, pain levels, and overall patient condition
• Administer medications, injections, place catheters, IV fluids, and treatments as directed
• Assist with catheter placement, blood draws, wound care, and bandaging
• Support veterinarians during exams, procedures, and emergency cases
• Safely handle and restrain horses of different sizes and conditions
• Maintain clean, organized patient and treatment areas
• Document treatments and communicate patient changes to the veterinary team

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous equine, large-animal, or veterinary experience is needed
• Confident and comfortable handling horses
• Veterinary Technician/Assistant experience strongly preferred
• ICU, emergency, surgical, or hospital experience is a plus
• Calm under pressure and attentive to small changes in patient condition
• Reliable, compassionate, and ready to be part of a team
