Marketing Liasion

Heritage Hospice is seeking a full-time Marketing Liaison to join our team! The Marketing Liaison is responsible for the development of referral and community relationships. The liaison markets and educates referral sources and the community about Heritage Hospice. Obtains and coordinates hospice referrals from a variety of sources. Participates in quality improvement activities within the Agency promoting overall compliance with State and Federal guidelines and professional standards of practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Intake and coordination of a referrals from an acceptable referral source
• Educate referral sources on Heritage Hospice and services available to care for patients
• Actively seek out new/additional referral sources
• Meets with potential patients and family members to explain hospice e services
• Effectively utilize written marketing material
• Compile and complete written referral and medical information to be utilized for admission to service
• Maintain confidentiality and safety of patient medical records
• Assumes responsibility to increase professional knowledge through attendance and participation in continuing education and in-services
• Documents daily marketing activity and provides reports upon request
• Initials and maintains records of referral source information

Position Qualifications:

• At least 1-year sales experience in healthcare field, preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s licenses and current auto insurance
• Must be able to travel to patient’s current residency
• Must be able to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team
• Must demonstrate knowledge of hospice services

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to hear and speak in a manner understood by most persons.
• Must be able to travel to referral sources.
• Must be able to stoop and bend; must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for at least 75% of your shift
