What you’ll need to succeed:

• Valid and active South Carolina Physical Therapy license
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
• Adaptability for managing an itinerant caseload across various schools
• Ability to organize your schedule and manage documentation efficiently

Key responsibilities in the role:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students as identified by their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to promote student access and participation
• Assess students’ motor development and functional mobility
• Develop targeted treatment plans and monitor student progress over time
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning for student success
• Maintain compliance with all required records and documentation
