Bring your ABA expertise to a dynamic K-12 environment, supporting students and staff with evidence-based practices throughout the academic year. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the opportunity to guide and elevate autism support services in a school community beginning August 24, 2026, and extending through June 10, 2027.

Desired Skills & Background:

  • Valid Pennsylvania educator certification in Special Education or a closely related field.
  • Experienced ABA therapist or Behavior Specialist, with a proven track record in autism support or special education settings.
  • Deep understanding of evidence-based instructional approaches for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Prior work experience in urban school settings and comfort adapting to district culture and expectations.
  • Capable of completing all mandatory Pennsylvania clearances.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work onsite only, with hours between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM.
  • School-based experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train new and returning staff on instructional practices, behavior plans, and district procedures to best serve students with Autism.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teams, modeling interventions and coaching in real-time within classrooms.
  • Facilitate district-wide training on IEPs, BIPs, verbal repertoires, and essential documentation.
  • Provide support and feedback to ensure fidelity in implementing individualized student programs and evidence-based strategies.
  • Serve as a resource during the critical start-of-year period, supporting staff, students, and administrators.
  • Partner with PaTTAN consultants to align practices with the PAI Tiered Implementation Inventory.
  • Help transfer skills and strategies from key autism support classrooms to additional sites across the district.
  • Participate in all onsite consultations and designate a qualified representative when necessary.
