School Psychologist - Clearwater, FL

You’ll oversee a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students, with responsibilities including counseling, conducting re-evaluations, contributing to 504 plans and IEP meetings, and collaborating with school staff and families. Scheduling is truly flexible at just 1–2 hours per week, allowing you to maintain work-life balance alongside your professional practice.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Valid Florida School Psychologist Certification (required)
• Experience with counseling strategies for adolescents
• Familiarity with special education processes, IEPs, and 504 plans
• Comfortable leading and participating in multidisciplinary meetings
• Strong ability to communicate empathetically with students, parents, and staff

Job duties include:

• Providing brief, targeted counseling sessions to students in grades 7–12
• Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and re-evaluation assessments
• Developing or updating 504 plans, participating in IEP meetings, and supporting effective interventions
• Documenting student progress and collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
• Serving as a resource for teachers and families regarding student mental health and learning challenges
