Qualifications:

  • Valid EIPA Score of 3.5 or above is mandatory
  • Experience in educational settings, preferably in high schools
  • Eligible for Pennsylvania onboarding within one year of start date
  • Confident in 1:1 student engagement and academic support
  • National or state interpreting certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a dedicated 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter for a high school student
  • Support regular curriculum and academic programming
  • Deliver in-person, onsite interpretation two days per week (flexible schedule; Monday and Friday preferred)
  • Foster effective communication and student participation in classroom settings
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure consistent student access and inclusion
