CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Waterbury, CT

Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional to provide one-on-one care for a medically fragile student at a school setting. In this vital role, you will work closely with an individual student requiring assistance with hygiene and feeding throughout the school day. Your expertise as a Certified Nursing Assistant will ensure the student receives quality, attentive support in a safe and respectful environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:15 AM – 2:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Previous experience supporting medically fragile individuals preferred
• Comfortable performing hygiene and feeding assistance
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused demeanor
• Female applicants strongly preferred due to the specifics of the assignment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must be available for in-person interview

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 care throughout the school day
• Assist with daily hygiene routines and feeding needs
• Maintain a respectful, supportive, and confidential environment for the student
• Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals as needed
• Monitor and promptly respond to changes in the student’s condition
• Adhere to all school and healthcare regulations and protocols
