School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Abbeville, South Carolina

This full-time opportunity consists of 35 hours per week, serving primarily elementary-aged learners across two closely located school sites. The focus is on delivering speech-language therapy to students with a range of needs, including language-based, speech, and autism spectrum challenges. Both SLPs (CCC and CFY) and SLPAs who are passionate about impacting student success are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina SLP or SLPA licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• ASHA CCC, CFY, or SLPA credentials accepted
• Experience supporting K-8 school-aged children preferred
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for varying student abilities and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, individually and in small groups
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in speech and communication
• Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to optimize student outcomes
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring, adapting interventions as necessary
