Step into an impactful role supporting the well-being and success of students as a full-time School Psychologist within a K-12 setting. This direct hire, permanent opportunity places you within a vibrant educational community, where your expertise will make a difference district-wide.

As a School Psychologist, you will collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student growth and advocacy while working with students across all grade levels.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in New York State
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct support and counseling to students as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention programs
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding best practices for student learning and mental health
