Industrial Painter
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Industrial Painter for a company based in Calera, AL. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have experience with painting Steel with an Airless spray gun system.

Pay Rate
$22 to $23 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00am-3:30/4pm Some overtime possible on Saturdays

Industrial Painter- Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate an airless spray gun to paint on steel parts
  • Tape off and prep items to be sprayed.
  • Preparing metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, or blasting.
  • Applying primers, paints, and protective coatings to structural steel and industrial equipment.
  • Mixing paints and coatings to required specifications.
  • Inspecting finished surfaces for quality and proper coating thickness.
  • Following safety procedures, including wearing respirators and protective equipment when working with industrial coatings.
  • Assisting with maintenance and corrosion protection on cranes, steel structures, and other industrial installations.
  • Work independently while managing time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Industrial Painter- Qualifications and Requirements
  • Strong work ethic with a self- motivated attitude.
  • Ability to work 8–10-hour shifts in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Previous experience with an airless spray system
  • Dependable, punctual, and consistent attendance a must.
  • Ability to perform physical labor includes bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
