Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Sanford, NC

In this exciting contract opportunity based near Sanford, NC, you’ll make a meaningful difference as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) working onsite with a diverse caseload of 20-23 students. Use your expertise to support and empower students with visual impairments through tailored instruction, resources, and advocacy. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license or certificate required
• Experience teaching or supporting students with visual impairments in a K-12 school environment
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Strong ability to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Proficiency in adapting curriculum and using assistive technology for students with visual impairments
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:
