Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week, and begins as soon as possible through June 11, 2026. You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 13 students per day, in grades K-6. The caseload includes a mix of speech-only needs as well as students for whom speech is a secondary disability—many of whom are nonverbal, have ASD, or require higher-level support. Work takes place in a well-organized charter school environment that values consistency, positive student engagement, and strong communication.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with current CCC-SLP
  • Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate with all required clearances
  • Experience working in a school setting, ideally in virtual or teletherapy roles
  • Strong skills in flexibility, rapport-building, and meeting diverse student needs
  • Proficiency with the EdPlan IEP system is preferred; ability to adapt to school-specific documentation processes
  • Successful completion of a technology screen and, if applicable, a clinical exception

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to elementary students with a variety of needs
  • Collaborate with a paraprofessional who helps facilitate sessions
  • Conduct progress monitoring quarterly (no need to pull students early for progress writing)
  • Do not manage Medicaid billing responsibilities
  • Maintain clear and collaborative communication with staff and families

This environment emphasizes excellent team support and offers the chance to make meaningful connections with students facing diverse communication challenges. Compensation is up to $55 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.

If you’re ready to inspire growth, support student success, and work in a dynamic charter school, apply now to begin your next rewarding contract as a school-based SLP.
