Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Middle School Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in grades 5-7 near Greenfield, MA. This contract role offers full-time hours, but applicants seeking at least 20 hours per week will also be considered. The position involves direct collaboration with students and staff, providing vital speech and language services to a developing caseload. Experience in a school-based setting, or a passion for working with adolescents, will set you up for success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current or eligible for Massachusetts SLP licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship applicants (CFY) are also welcome
  • Previous experience serving middle school students or familiarity with IEP processes a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
  • Interest in supporting a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to middle school students according to IEP mandates
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Adapt strategies to address varying student needs within the caseload
