Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Clemson, South Carolina

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings
• Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Compassion, resourcefulness, and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Deliver evidence-based therapy services to children in group and individual settings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support academic and social success
• Provide guidance, strategies, and resources to classroom teachers and parents to promote communication development
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development opportunities
