Picture your day: you roll onto a well-organized job site in Portland, Maine, review the blueprint set with the project manager, and map out the morning’s rough-in strategy. By mid-day, you’re laying out a 3-inch DWV run, double-checking slope and venting, and coordinating with the GC to keep the timeline on track. In the afternoon, you’re pressure-testing a new PEX water distribution system, verifying every connection, and closing out with a thorough site clean-up. Role Details

• Location: Portland, Maine and surrounding areas
• Pay: $45.00–$50.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Employment Type: Full-Time

MUST have Journeyman Plumber License & OSHA 10 certification.

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.
• Handle rough-ins for 3-inch drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems with accuracy.
• Install PEX water distribution systems and PVC venting in full compliance with applicable codes.
• Read, interpret, and execute from blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Ensure all work meets local, state, and national plumbing codes.
• Coordinate daily with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to hit milestones.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and present solid, cost-effective solutions.
• Keep a clean, safe, and well-organized work area at all times.
