Journeyman/Tradesman Plumber for Residential Generator Installation

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tradesman/Journeyman Plumber specializing in generator installation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems associated with power generators across residential and commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Duties

• Install, connect, and test plumbing systems for generator setups, including gas piping and propane piping.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools and pipe threading machines to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
• Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades on existing plumbing associated with generators.
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and site activities.
• Conduct quality inspections of installed systems to guarantee proper operation and compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman/Tradesman Plumber license or equivalent certification with proven experience in residential plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, schematics, blueprints, and local regulations.
• Skilled in pipe installation, pipe threading, gas piping systems and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform and handle physical demands of the job including climbing ladders or working at heights and trenching
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and system layout.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism on-site.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to electrical hazards associated with generator systems.

Must Haves:

*Valid and current Texas DL

*Valid and current Texas Journeyman/Residential Tradesman license

*Reliable transportation to and from work

*Must be able to pass a drug test

*Clear driving and criminal history

*MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER AND BE RELIABLE
