Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Full Time, Per Diem

Blue Palms Health & Rehabilitation at Daytona Beach is dedicated to providing high-quality, in-house rehabilitation services to our patients. Our team is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters recovery and enhances the quality of life for those we serve.

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans, support patients in their recovery journeys, and help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and families about treatment goals and strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
• Experience in an in-house rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
