Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Facility: Lake City Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Location: Lake City, Florida
Shift: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $34 per hour

You’ll work alongside a dedicated rehabilitation and clinical team committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
Key ResponsibilitiesIndividualized Care & Treatment Support: Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and the interdisciplinary team to implement personalized treatment plans designed around each resident’s goals and needs.
Restoring Independence: Help residents improve their ability to perform daily activities, regain functional skills, and achieve greater independence and quality of life.
Hands-On Therapeutic Care: Provide skilled assistance during therapy sessions to support recovery from illness, injury, or other health challenges.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring resident information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and in accordance with regulatory standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional care and achieve positive resident outcomes.
Active and current Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license required
Passion for helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required
