Where you’ll workAlsip, IL — fully onsite in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Your impact- Assemble small components with high manual dexterity and craftsmanship
- Set up and adjust testing equipment to keep quality high and throughput steady
- Fit and adjust components to close tolerances per Standard Work Instructions
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and maintain a spotless, safe cell
- Raise your hand when you see a hazard—safety is everyone’s job
- Support additional tasks as needed
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30pm–4:00pm OR 4:00pm–12:30am
- Training will take place on 1st shift
- Starting pay: $22.85/hour, plus $1.35/hour shift premium for second shift.
Starting pay will be $21.85 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
Pay decisions reflect multiple factors—skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. The posted range is not adjusted for geographic differentials. Offers are rarely at the top of the range; each situation is evaluated individually.
What you bringMinimum- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of assembly experience
- 2+ years using micrometers, gauges, meters, calipers, and other measuring tools
- 2+ years interpreting blueprints/schematics and following written or verbal instructions
- Experience fitting parts to close tolerances (example: 0.002)
- Mechanical/technical fluency with industrial tools; committed to safety and continuous improvement
- Self-starter who collaborates well
- Strong English communication skills
- Critical thinker and effective problem solver in technical, fast-paced settings
- High School Diploma or GED
- Soldering background
- Exposure to noise, heat/cold, fumes, and chemicals
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Kneel, bend, climb ladders, work in tight spaces; stand/walk for long durations
- Comfortable working at elevation (e.g., scissor lift)
