Physical Therapy Assistant- PRN

Job Type: PRN / As Needed

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team on a PRN basis. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality rehabilitation services to residents, helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

• Provide physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility, gait training, transfers, and balance activities.
• Document treatments and resident progress accurately and timely.
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote resident safety and maintain a clean and therapeutic environment.
• Follow all facility, state, and federal regulations and infection-control procedures.

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Previous SNF, geriatric, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the facility.
