Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients in an outpatient setting. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, educate patients and their families on proper techniques and modifications, and maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists in conducting patient evaluations, treatments, and modalities as needed
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and modifications to promote optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans
Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings as needed
Stay up-to-date on current physical therapy techniques and best practices
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Maryland
0 years of experience preferred, but not required
