Lead Two-Year-Old Preschool Teacher

We are looking for a loving, energetic, dependable, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our preschool team and lead our two-year-old classroom.

The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and understands the unique developmental needs of two-year-olds. We are looking for a teacher who can provide a safe, nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment where children can learn, play, and grow.

Responsibilities

• Implement fun, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Follow the school's curriculum.
• Encourage language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Support children with potty training, independence, and self-help skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Provide active supervision and ensure children's safety at all times.
• Use positive guidance and redirection.
• Communicate professionally with parents and administration.
• Work closely with assistant teachers and other staff members.
• Follow all school policies and Florida childcare licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with two-year-olds or toddlers in a preschool/childcare setting preferred.
• Florida DCF 45 Hours completed or in progress.
• CDA/FCCPC or Early Childhood Education credential completed or in progress.
• Must be eligible for a Level 2 background screening.
• Reliable, patient, nurturing, professional, and responsible.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Must be looking for stable, long-term employment.
