Activities Aide for Adult Medical Day Center

The ideal candidate must have prior experience in Activities Aide. Must be energetic and have the experiences in planning and coordinating the daily activities to promote engagement, physical and social well-being and needs of each client.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting and implementing activities program, well organized and ensuring actives are tailored to individual interests and aligned with care plans.
Have the ability to prepare and maintain a calendar of events.
Aide should have the ability to motivate clients to participate and engage in the daily activities
Must be creative in crafts and assisting clients with crafts whether in group setting or individual based.
Ability to decorate the hall for different events and schedule vendors for parties/activities
Ability to assist in the planning monthly open houses to welcome the opportunity for new clients
Must be well organized, keep up with a daily plan of action as activities of events may change.
Must have a take charge mentality, upbeat and energetic.
Keep activities area well organized, each pantry area stocked
Other duties;
Assist in the daily meal prep for breakfast and lunch
Ensure each person is signed in, take in attendance and meal count for next day
Assist in transport and other functions as needed

This is an 8am to 1pm position. Some extra hours may be needed in the preparation of events.
