Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to a transformative role supporting students and educators across an expansive district in the vibrant Chattanooga area. This part-time, contract opportunity allows you to provide critical behavioral support and guidance, shaping student outcomes in a collaborative, data-driven environment.

With an immediate start and flexibility through May 2027, you will be district-based, working primarily from the central office and engaging with various schools via an efficient referral process. The caseload and specific school assignments will be determined with your geographic preferences in mind, ensuring manageable travel and optimal support.

What you’ll bring:

  • Active and unrestricted BCBA license.
  • Experience designing and overseeing behavior intervention plans in school settings.
  • Strong knowledge of data-driven decision-making and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent consultation, collaboration, and communication abilities.
  • Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice and continuous professional growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and support the development and implementation of intervention plans.
  • Serve as a consultative resource to school staff, guiding effective support for students within the district through a streamlined referral process.
  • Participate in monthly consults, benefiting from an active partnership with the Vanderbilt Triad program for feedback and ongoing learning.
  • Utilize a detailed help desk model to ensure caseloads remain balanced and support is sustainable.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attending to the unique needs of each student.
  • Complete all required documentation and participate in fingerprinting and credentialing processes as part of onboarding.
