This onsite role requires 10-15 hours per week through the end of the school year, and you’ll work directly from the district office, supporting caseloads determined by a robust referral system. The BCBA will be an integral part of a dynamic network, benefiting from monthly consults through a partnership with the Vanderbilt Triad program, along with a structured Help Desk for efficient resource and case management.

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification/license (required)
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Comfortable supporting a caseload that may change according to district and referral needs
  • Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
  • Collaborative mindset and capacity to provide guidance to school staff and district administrators

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver behavioral assessments, intervention plans, and ongoing monitoring for students referred from across the school district
  • Participate in and contribute to the monthly Vanderbilt Triad consults, leveraging additional expertise and data
  • Use a detailed support model and Help Desk system to manage caseload and prevent overload
  • Provide training, feedback, and consultation to school teams and parents
  • Document interventions, progress, and reports in accordance with district procedures
