School Psychologist | Northampton, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding educational environment this fall, supporting students' growth and well-being as a School Psychologist on a contract basis beginning September 16th. In this role, you’ll work with approximately 650 elementary students across 1.5 school sites, providing critical services that shape positive learning experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference and comfortable collaborating with staff and families. While full-time is preferred, there’s flexibility for part-time professionals to contribute their expertise.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience or keen interest in working with elementary-aged students
• Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments (anticipated caseload includes 40 testing evaluations and about 20 record reviews)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and recommend interventions, accommodations, and resources for diverse learners
• A collaborative, solutions-focused attitude

Key responsibilities:

• Performing comprehensive school psychological assessments and evaluations
• Reviewing student records and interpreting data to inform decision-making
• Participating in and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to create optimal learning environments
• Supporting the development and monitoring of interventions and educational programs
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation to support compliance and student progress
