What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
• Possession of a valid Louisiana SPED Educator Certificate
• Ability to adapt to a range of classroom environments and student needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Dedication to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social growth
• Comfortable working onsite and engaging with various classroom settings

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction tailored to students’ unique learning styles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Support students academically and emotionally throughout the school year
