School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Spotsylvania, VA

You'll work closely with students who have diverse medical needs, including assisting those with diabetes, seizure protocols, g-tube or trach care, and offering support with toileting, diapering, and other essential daily activities. Bus riding with students is required, ensuring their safety and well-being from the moment they leave home until they're back at the end of the day. With 37.5 hours per week, you'll have the satisfaction of a full-time schedule in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of Virginia required
• Experience in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
• Confidence and compassion when supporting students with medical fragility
• Familiarity with diabetes care, seizure response, catheterization, g-tube, trach, and similar responsibilities
• Ability to assist with toileting, diapering, and personal care needs
• Comfortable riding the bus with students to ensure safety
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering daily nursing care and health monitoring for students on site and while commuting
• Implementing care plans and emergency interventions under the direction of nursing supervisors
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student health
• Maintaining accurate health documentation and medication administration
