Skills and Experience Desired:

• Active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Louisiana
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting
• Ability to provide OT services across multiple campuses
• Willingness and ability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions for students, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapies across four school sites
• Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Supervise and mentor a COTA delivering services under your direction
