Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC-SLP certification
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as required for SLP roles in schools
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Knowledgeable in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to student needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions to address identified needs
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students in both group and individual settings
  • Provide education and strategies for teachers and families to support student goals
