This full-time contract position focuses on supporting a diverse K-12 population as a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The preferred candidate will bring a background in speech-language pathology and relevant healthcare, school, or pediatric experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY)
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, teletherapy, or healthcare settings
  • SLPA experience in schools or healthcare welcomed
  • Skilled in supporting children with diverse learning and communication needs
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to upholding individualized educational plans (IEPs) and best practices in special education

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to students in K-12 settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with speech-language professionals and support staff to foster students’ academic and communication growth
  • Document student progress and maintain appropriate records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help with parent communications
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and offer a supportive, inclusive environment
  • Remain apprised of new developments in special education and speech-language services
