School Social Worker - Lake Orion, MI

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience in an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral plans, and counseling techniques
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a flexible caseload and travel between multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans to address behavioral, social, or emotional concerns
• Conduct assessments and document student progress
