Instructional Aide - Woonsocket, RI

Make a meaningful impact in the classroom supporting students and educators in a dynamic school environment! Multiple contract opportunities are available for committed paraprofessionals at the high school, middle school, elementary, and kindergarten levels for the upcoming academic year.

Positions are available on a full-time, weekday schedule beginning August 31, 2026 and concluding June 10, 2027. Each role is designed for 32 hours per week, with hours varying by school level—ranging from early morning start times to mid-afternoon finishes. You’ll enjoy the rewarding experience of working closely with students, teachers, and specialists to provide essential classroom support and promote positive learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• RI TA Certification or CNA with demonstrated experience in school-based settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to follow teacher’s instructions and support students’ learning goals
• Flexibility to work with students in various grades and adapting to different classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the classroom by providing instructional and behavioral support
• Work individually or with small groups of students to reinforce lessons and encourage engagement
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and occasional non-instructional tasks
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment for all learners
• Comply with district policies and uphold confidentiality standards
