Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Louisiana OT license required
• Experience delivering occupational therapy within school settings
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Willingness to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
• Ability to effectively serve diverse student populations across varied grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in compliance with IEP goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress and outcomes
• Collaborate regularly with educators, support staff, families, and other service providers
• Supervise assigned COTA, offering mentorship and oversight as needed
• Travel onsite between four local schools to ensure comprehensive coverage and continuity of care

Role Details:

• Contract runs from start date through May 21, 2027
• Part-time schedule: 20-25 hours per week
• Manage a varied caseload ranging through elementary to high school students
• Engage in ongoing documentation and reporting in alignment with district standards
