Enhance students’ communication and learning by providing vital support as a Speech Language Pathologist serving middle and high school learners. This contract position offers the opportunity to engage full-time with a diverse caseload and make a meaningful difference in students’ academic and personal success. You’ll apply your clinical knowledge in a collaborative educational setting, using teletherapy and onsite strategies to address communication needs and support individualized education plans.

Qualifications:

  • Maine SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric Speech Language Pathology preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for middle and high school students
  • Carry out both group and individual therapy sessions—onsite or via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student IEP outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for assessments, progress reports, and compliance
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and consultative services for staff and families
