Qualifications/Experience:

  • Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) and/or Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Specialist
  • Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple school sites

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction to visually impaired students across up to three schools for TVI and three schools for O&M
  • Adapt and modify teaching materials and methods to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to foster student success
  • Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation
  • Serve as a resource to the educational team throughout the district
