Job Description
Position: PRN Maintenance Assistant
Location: The Greens at Weaverville

The Greens at Weaverville is seeking a dedicated PRN Maintenance Assistant to support our team and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning facility for our residents and staff.

• Maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building remains in good repair.

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using appropriate hand and power tools.

• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing systems, machinery, and equipment.

• Complete routine physical tasks such as posting notices, pulling weeds, picking up litter, raking leaves, replacing light bulbs, moving furniture, and general grounds upkeep.

• Clean and organize work areas at the end of each job, including removing tools, sweeping debris, wiping spills, and performing necessary touch-ups.

• Set up rooms or common areas for meetings, events, or scheduled activities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Accept delegated authority, responsibility, and accountability associated with assigned tasks.

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

• Routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and general building systems.

• Painting and minor surface repair.

• Servicing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems.

• General maintenance and facility upkeep.
