PRN - Assisted Living Care Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and ambulation support

• Serve meals and assist residents with eating as needed

• Monitor residents’ condition and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors

• Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations and facility policy)

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas

• Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being at all times

• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests

• Encourage resident participation in activities and social engagement

• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
  
  Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or healthcare preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents (up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance)

• Prolonged standing and walking

• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
