CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Swanzey, New Hampshire

Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide essential care and support within a high school environment. This contract position is focused on assisting students who have behavioral needs, ensuring compassionate, attentive care throughout the academic year.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00am to 3:30pm
• 35 hours per week
• 30-minute unpaid lunch

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility adjustments
• Maintain a supportive and patient-centered approach when working with students displaying behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with school staff and educators to foster a safe, inclusive atmosphere
• Observe and report any changes in student condition to appropriate personnel
• Consistently uphold confidentiality and student dignity at all times

Qualifications:

• Current CNA or LNA certification required
• Experience assisting individuals with behavioral or special needs is highly desirable
• Genuine interest in working with high school-aged students
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
