Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Fredericksburg, VA

This contract position will have you working 37.5 hours per week, providing medical care and emotional support to students with diverse health needs. Your day may include supporting diabetic care, assisting students with seizure disorders, and handling complex care needs such as G-tube, tracheostomy, toileting, diapering, and bus riding. Flexibility, compassion, and professionalism are key to your success in this role.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of Virginia (VA)
• Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
• Confidence and skill in working with diabetic care, seizure response, and medically fragile populations
• Experience and comfort with G-tube, trach care, toileting, and diapering
• Ability to ride buses as needed to support student safety
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily medical care and emergency interventions for students as required
• Support one-on-one care for students with complex health needs
• Document health interventions and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students under your care
• Travel between elementary and middle school locations as assigned
