Make a difference in a child's educational journey this school year as a dedicated LPN working one-on-one within a school community near Yelm, WA. This contract opportunity covers the entire 2026-2027 academic year, providing steady full-time hours—6.5 hours per day—working exclusively onsite. You’ll support a student throughout their school day, creating a safe and nurturing environment and being present at both arrival and pickup.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Washington LPN license, or willingness to obtain prior to start
  • Willingness to complete fingerprinting through OSPI if not already completed
  • Previous experience in pediatric, school, or 1:1 nurse roles is highly valued
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate demeanor and ability to build rapport with children, families, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care, meeting all medical and personal care needs as outlined in the student’s care plan
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor health status throughout the school day
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain detailed, confidential documentation of care
  • Uphold a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environment
  • Remain onsite during school hours and provide care from the student’s arrival until departure
