Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based contract role located near Rochester, NY. This position focuses on working with children in grades 3 through high school for the upcoming school year. You'll have the chance to provide both in-person and teletherapy services, collaborating closely with educators and families to support student communication, social, and academic growth.

To thrive in this position, candidates should offer:

  • Valid NY Speech Language Pathologist license and TSSLD Certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
  • Strong skills in teletherapy and virtual service delivery
  • Ability to design and implement individualized speech and language programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and communication abilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy for a diverse caseload
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Using innovative strategies and technology to enhance engagement and outcomes
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to multi-disciplinary teams

The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 35 hours per week throughout the school year.
