This position involves delivering care in a school-based setting while working a flexible 8-hour week, making it ideal for professionals seeking meaningful, part-time engagement. While the specific caseload and school assignments are being finalized, you'll have the chance to work with an enthusiastic community and make a difference in young lives—whether you are an established clinician or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY applicants welcome
  • Background in pediatrics, school-based practice, and/or teletherapy highly valued
  • Adaptability and collaborative spirit
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Anticipated Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide therapeutic interventions tailored to students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress logs
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders effectively
  • Potential participation in remote or hybrid service delivery
