HVAC & Sheet Metal Apprentice

MGM HVAC & SHEETMETAL SERVICES LLC is seeking an HVAC & Sheet Metal Apprentice to support skilled technicians in delivering high-quality heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sheet metal installation work.

Position Summary

The HVAC & Sheet Metal Apprentice will learn and assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems and sheet metal components under the guidance of experienced technicians. This role is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on skills, develop jobsite competence, and grow toward greater responsibility over time.

You will work on-site in a team environment, helping ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and in line with service and workmanship expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with HVAC installations, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks.

• Support fabrication and installation of sheet metal components as directed.

• Prepare job sites, organize tools/materials, and ensure work areas are maintained.

• Follow safety procedures and company standards while working with equipment and materials.

• Document basic job progress as needed and communicate updates to the supervising technician.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to learn HVAC and sheet metal trade skills through hands-on training.

• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements in a work environment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and materials.

• Reliable transportation.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or exposure to HVAC, mechanical work, or sheet metal activities. (not required)

• Familiarity with reading basic jobsite instructions, measurements, and specifications.

• Basic math skills.

• Demonstrated interest in pursuing a long-term career in the HVAC trade.

• Comfort with physical work, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $15.00
