Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Physical Therapist in a vibrant school environment. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student growth and well-being while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time schedule. Starting immediately and continuing through May 31, 2027, you’ll work two days per week during the school year, collaborating with a diverse student population and education teams.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to perform assessments, generate reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Familiarity with school-based physical therapy services and educational systems
  • Organizational skills to manage a multi-aged, K-12 caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop effective therapy strategies
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Prepare thorough and timely reports to document student progress and outcomes
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to student care plans
  • Collaborate with school personnel to create safe, accessible, and engaging learning environments
