Put your expertise to work making a difference for high school students as a School Psychologist on a 37.5-hour/week contract assignment. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated staff to support learners' emotional and academic success, providing vital psychological services in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid CA Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
  • Previous experience working with high school students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication and consultation skills
  • Ability to perform comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized support plans
  • Team-oriented approach to working with educators, families, and specialists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct educational and behavioral assessments for high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Support interventions addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Provide counseling services tailored to the unique needs of adolescents
  • Serve as a resource for educators and parents regarding mental health and learning differences
  • Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
