School Occupational Therapist | Moncks Corner, South Carolina

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a skilled Occupational Therapist within a dynamic school environment. This position is based at College Park Elementary, with the possibility of providing services at another nearby location that maintains a minimal caseload. You’ll make a difference every day, working closely with students, educators, and families to promote independence and success.

This assignment runs through June 4th, 2027, and offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll build relationships, see student progress unfold, and enjoy the structure of school-based practice within an inclusive, supportive setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapy license is required
• Experience working as an OT in a school environment is strongly desired
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Willingness to provide services at multiple locations as needed

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying needs, primarily at College Park Elementary and possibly one other site
• Assess students and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to their IEPs, goals, and abilities
• Maintain accurate documentation on progress, attendance, and therapeutic outcomes
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates as a valued team member
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Support students in achieving greater independence in academic and daily life skills
